1 Corinthians 5:
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ
Our minds must produce mind police at all times, to be vigilant in all affairs that are happening not just in the world but also in the church....for among us there are those who dress as sheep, talk like sheep, act like sheep but inside they are ferocious wolves.
Also,
In awareness of what is happening to our fellow yolk bearers in some parts of Malaysia, they are not just victims but also an instrument to witness the might of God at work. When others meant harm against us, God turn the situation around and pull down the strongholds of the evil one rather than the instrument of wickedness.
God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.

I don't agree with others who are trying to bombard me with the kinda thinking and mentality they own especially my dad who brags about himself of being a dad at the age of 21. But I am not happy with myself either with the current issues that are loitering in my mind and my life, and I can't always keep a positive attitude coz somehow the devil will try its way to sneak in and place some depressions. I'm just wondering if there is someone out there who I can really trust and rely in times like this, and true enough, not 1 single dog can stay by my side when I'm in deep dog shit. No, not even 1/2.
Perhaps this is what I call 'human with animal instincts'. The words in Proverbs are so true when it says you will have friends around you when you're well to do. And those who stick around you even when life is tough are the true ones you cherish in life. Not even your closest relatives deserves that kinda recognition. No, not even 1/2.
But the more I seek for someone who is out there, the more i realise that the person was all the while inside of me. How can I be so forgetful and ignorant of His presence when He is more than all the rest of 'them'. I'm referring to the 3rd person of the Triune God that I know; God the Father, God the Son (Jesus), and God the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is found in each true believers.
After reading about Joseph's story all over again, I must keep reminding myself that this is just for temporary time being until the full restoration is installed. Joseph had to be sold by his blood brothers to a foreign land because of jealousy and envy, and he was also framed by his employer's(Potiphar) wife that he committed adultery with her. After doing a favor for one of Pharoah's official he was forgotten for his kindness and remain in prison for the next 2 years. But little did he know that all this had to come to pass before God restored him to what was promised in a dream, and ultimately become the prime minister of Egypt.
So, who cares what people say about me? As long as my conscience is clear before God and men, I am not living a life of hypocrisy nor aimlessly. The day of restoration has begun and it will be fulfilled by the grace of God and for the glory of the Almigthy One.

Psalm 127
A song of ascents. Of Solomon.
1 Unless the LORD builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchmen stand guard in vain.
2 In vain you rise early
and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat—
for he grants sleep to [a] those he loves.
I think it is common for common men to think that building a stable career is the best way in life. Since adolescent I had visions and dreams (not the Bible kinda visions and dreams) to be a famous designer, to build myself a luxurious house and attain comfortable living for the rest of my life and to raise a family with a beautiful wife and have lovely children.
Until I came to these verses which reminded me that whatever i do, if it is not the hand of God upon it, it is utterly futile. This doesn't mean that God won't bless us with luxury, but will that luxury pull us closer or away from Him?
So how much is enough? Do we labor OT to meet our needs or wants? What is the level of our contentment?
1 Timothy 6:
6But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
May Christ guard our hearts that we be devoted to the Great Commission and focus on things which are of eternal value, and when our works are tested by fire, may it not be wood or hay which are easily consumed by fire but of silver and gold.

Everyday is Valentine's Day
Song of Solomon 2:7 Daughters of Jerusalem, I charge you
by the gazelles and by the does of the field:
Do not arouse or awaken love
until it so desires.
In this age that we live in, with the level of complexity of human relationshipsIstrongly believe that God has always wanted us to enjoy His presence of abundance love even while we were still in our youths. Not youthful lust, but love... for love has no expiry date nor an age limit. Love comes to those who are as little as kindergarten kids...Love comes to those who are in primary and secondary school...Love has no boudary in time and space and often we hear people so want to fall in love that it can be the source of energy even without food for a day.
1 Jn 4:7Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son[a] into the world that we might live through him.
Among the many books of the Bible, the songs of Solomon is one that I rarely hear it being preached. If this book is not important in God's sight, why is it even compiled as one of the 66 books of the Bible? I personally believe that there are many truth and insights, new revelations that we can draw from this poetic book....for those who are going to fall in love, those who want to fall in love, those who are already in love, those who are married and still in love, and those who are yet to fall in love.
Hebrews13:4Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure,
Solomon, known as the man with great wisdom wrote this book in order for us to know that even a man such as him can never leave out the romance life as a child of God. Though I have not embark on a book study on this book, I notice that the verses above was repeated a few times in the chapters and, yes, there is a timing in falling in love. I 'd like to let us know that love is the main ingredient of being human, as we are made in the image of God because God is Love (1 Jn 1:4) God [a.k.a(if I may)] Love, for God so loved the world(everyone in the world be it young or old, tall or short, slim or plum, dark or fair) that He gave His only Son.....and why should some of us restrict the young ones from falling in love at a young age?
There is a fear that they might end up in a 'wrong kind' of love. Because there is sin, therefore 'fear' comes along and also worries and all the negative thoughts. Cast these negative thoughts away and teach them about 1 Corinthians 13 and they shall listen to what is right, because the Word of God is living and active. (Hebrews 4:12)
1 Corinthians 13
4Love is patient,
In some translations is known as longsuffering, so suffer long lah
love is kind.
Don't be cruel, offer as much help as you can
It does not envy,
Don't look at other couples with what they have, be contented with your own unique way
it does not boast,
Don't talk big about your qualifications or achievements
it is not proud.
be humble, but don't outdo humility
5It is not rude,
gentleness is lovable
it is not self-seeking,
never selfish gain, never.
it is not easily angered,
and not easily agitated
it keeps no record of wrongs.
Let yesterday be history. PERIOD
6Love does not delight in evil
Don't take revenge, or do stupid things with your camera phones
but rejoices with the truth.
truth don't hurt, they bring darkness into light, confusion into clarity
7It always protects,
Don't be a coward and hide
always trusts,
Choose not to doubt
always hopes,
That each will be better and don't pull them back from promotions
always perseveres.
through the thick and thin
For instance if sex education was introduced from as early as the 60's or way earlier, I suppose we don't have to take so long to curb AIDS....Therefore always feed their minds with the right resources, and beware of the 'Media-nites' where it teaches them about serial monogamy, one night stands, pre-marital sex are normal in this era.
Youths, I urge you not to awaken nor stir up love until it so desires. Talk about it with your folks if you're comfortable with them or speak to your mentors or more senior people that you can trust. It is not a sin to fall in love, for it is a natural human emotion to fall in love. Explore and know yourself and your own emotions but don't be emo lah...stay away from wrong influences, though they may seem nice and make you feel good but it will cost you a lot in the future and the consequences are sometimes unbearable. Remember, 'Bad company corrupts good character'.
Valentine's Day is not the only day that we can celebrate love. This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it so we should not disregard the presence of Love everyday of our lives and for you couples: Just read song of solomon will ya?
